After spending the majority of her life mastering various artistic mediums including charcoal, pen and paint, Susan “Supie” Davis finally discovered her favorite: sand, a stick and a camera! Using her skills in calligraphy, Supie artistically writes each and every letter of her messages in the sand and photographs them when the light is just right, usually near her home in Half Moon Bay, California. It may have taken more than 40 years to rediscover what she already learned in the sand box at age three, but like Supie says, “This proves you are never too old to be young again!”.

Sand Scribbles has grown into a full-scale creative endeavor. Each of her cards feature images of words actually written in the sand by Supie. Words in the sand like: “Make a Wish”, Be happy”, “Be joyful!”, “Live Love Laugh”, “Thinking of You”, “You’re on my mind and in my heart”.
