Highly experienced in most media, Lovita has favored oils since her entry into the art world in 1972 when she began showing her artwork at the Texas State Fair. An art teacher for more than 15 years, Lovita honed her own skills under the guidance of such prestigious artists as Joe Beeler, Larry Dyke and Bob Wygant. She has met with such success that her work is now sold in galleries nationwide and is part of private collections from coast to coast.
